P/NK is energy. P/NK polarises. P/NK is an attitude.

What do I stand for, what is my vision and how do I play the game of life? P/NK is the simultaneity of everything. A colour that can be loud, unpleasant and kitschy, but also vulnerable and delicate, free-flowing and energetic. P/NK is joie de vivre. P/NK is freedom. P/NK is a breath. And the funny thing is: from a physical point of view, P/NK actually does not exist.

We have cells in our eyes that perceive electromagnetic waves, which we interpret as blue, green and red. And we interpret the mixture of the neighbouring signals as shades of turquoise and yellow or orange. The moment the two ends of the colour spectrum – red and blue – overlap, my brain wants to provide a colour information that is not available because red and blue are not next to each other. My mind wants to fill the information gap. And so it creates P/NK. A completely new colour that doesn‘t actually exist.

P/NK is the field of possibilities. P/NK opens a door. To a new vision. To courageous dreams, joy and to constructive conversation. P/NK is freedom and the eternal moment.  I want to share this moment with you.

Higher, faster and further. Eternal ecstasy and bliss. Beauty, eternal youth and infinite wealth. The maxim and vision that characterises our time is the assertion that the finteness of the body can be overcome and that one only needs to be clever enough to achieve a state of eternal happiness. The clever survive. Hard work for those who are not clever enough... ? The world is only slowly beginning to realise that this model of reality is based on notorious dissatisfaction. The ideal of material expansion as a means to eternal happiness is a claim that prevents us from feeling alive and experiencing contentment. So we continue to work hard and exchange our savings for a holiday, only to indulge in the idea for two weeks that happiness could last forever... if only we weren‘t always so dissatisfied.. What if we entered a realm where fear, separation, and eternal strife did not matter? When we think P/NK, anything can become possible.

Wie gut, dass Ena Oppenheimer in München gerade ein Audrey-Hepburn-Zitat in große Plakatkunst verwandelt.“ (…) Oppenheimers Arbeiten stehen allerdings weniger in einem Münchner, als in einem größeren Kontext. Diese Beschäftigung mit diesen Grenzbereichen zwischen Wissen schaft, Technik und Kunst sind ein neues Feld, das kunsthistorisch noch nicht als Genre definiert ist, aber doch eine neue Nische der zeitgenössischen Kunst bildet. Der Superkurator Hans Ulrich Obrist war an der Serpentine Gallery in London einer der ersten, der dieses Feld entdeckte. Der bindet die Wissenschaftler mit seinen „Serpentine Marathon"-Gipfeltreffen immer wieder ganz direkt in den Prozess ein. (…)

Pink als Provokation | Die Pasinger Fabrik in München widmet sich der Bedeutung der Farbe Pink in Kunst und Alltag

(…) Passend zum Thema tapeziert ab Mai dann auch die Künstlerin Ena Oppenheimer unter dem Slogan „May The Pink Be With You“ mit etwa hundert unterschiedlich pinkigen Plakaten ganz München.
Damit will sie eine in verzagten Zeiten so wichtige Zukunftsvision anmahnen und an ein kraftvolles Lebensgefühl erinnern, das so energiegeladen ist wie Pink. Inspiriert hat sie übrigens ein Zitat der unvergessenen Audrey Hepburn, die mal sagte: „Ich glaube an Pink (...),daran stark zu sein, wenn alles schief zu laufen scheint(...), und ich glaube an Wunder!“ Könnten wir doch eigentlich alle.
